The Service

Modern Flat Roof
Systems

Modern flat roofing systems have come a long way. We install EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass, and high-performance felt systems — all offering superior longevity, waterproofing, and manufacturer-backed warranties. Whether a garage, extension, or full commercial building, we provide the right system for the application.

How We Work

Our Installation Process

01

Survey & Design

We survey the existing roof structure, assess falls and drainage, and recommend the most appropriate system for your project.

02

Deck Preparation

The existing deck is stripped back and any damaged timber replaced to provide a sound, level substrate for the new roof system.

03

System Installation

Your chosen flat roof system is installed by fully trained specialists, with all upstands, outlets, and trims completed to the manufacturer’s specification.

04

Inspection & Warranty

A detailed final inspection is carried out before issuing manufacturer warranty documentation and our 10-year workmanship guarantee.

Questions Answered

Flat Roof Installation FAQs

What is the best material for a flat roof?
For most homes we recommend GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber — both are seamless, durable and low-maintenance, typically outlasting traditional felt by many years.
How long does a flat roof last?
A professionally installed GRP or EPDM flat roof commonly lasts 25 to 30 years or more, compared with around 10 to 15 years for older felt systems.
Can you install a flat roof on an extension or garage?
Yes — extensions, garages, dormers and outbuildings are all common flat-roofing projects for us, finished to the same high standard.
Is a new flat roof guaranteed?
Yes — our flat roof installations carry a workmanship guarantee, and the GRP and EPDM systems we use come with manufacturer warranties too.
